Very cooperative Dragon at Lakeside in Sun City

Group of White-faced Ibis in Buckeye farm area. The white on the face shows up in breeding season, so isn’t seen right now.
Clearwing Butterfly at Butterfly Wonderland. Every time I go there I look for one of these. We don’t often see one but yesterday we lucked out.
Burrowing Owl on guard above its burrow. Shot from the car at a distance.
love watching the Snowy Egrets going back and forth across the canal between ponds, usually picking up a fish both ways. Glendale Recharge Ponds.
At Boyce Thompson two days ago we saw many Sulphur’s and Queens, and just a few Pipevine Swallowtail butterflies. We had hoped to see more variety but I will say there was a lot of them everywhere. We did check with staff several times but were told there no other varieties there at the time.
Also, October 1st the admission prices go up. We did join as members. It’s a drive of over an hour but a wonderful place to visit
