I haven’t done any art work for months. I have no natural talent, being so left-brain oriented, but I enjoy it – makes me feel like a kid again. Life has been difficult lately, but I wanted to draw flowers with colored pencils. Somehow, bugs and little creatures came in, not sure how they got there, but I let them stay. My only hope is that this will make you smile and be happy.

A White Pelican flies over Freestone Park. I love watching these big birds as they fly. They are beautiful and graceful.

Great Blue Heron takes off from Pond 1 at Glendale Recharge Ponds.

A Snowy Egret flies to one of the little islands in Pond On at Glendale Recharge Ponds. Why those mounds are there, with posts in them, is beyond me. But there are usually Egrets and Herons on all of them. Reflections are so good in the morning on the ponds.
