As I gradually make digital files of old film photos, I often come across a picture that has deep meaning. My husband and I loved Western Washington State; the trees, mountains, crisp air, beautiful scenery, all of it. This shot, taken near the rain forest area, has always seemed to me to represent the state at its best.
