Sunset in the Superstition Mountains
Cell phone shot of another amazing Arizona sunset tonight.
While I usually post Nature photos, this recent photo of mine has received many honors including Photo of the Day, on Capture My Arizona.
I rode and owned horses most of my life. I would often ride into the desert among the beautiful plants and flowers especially in the spring and fall. I miss it a lot.
Several White Pelicans still remain at Glendale Recharge Ponds, but the large flock has moved on.
A Poppy opens up in the morning, reaching for the sun, on the Pipeline Trail at Lake Pleasant Regional Park.
Moon rise over the Superstition Mountains
Staghorn Cholla blooms in late January
More poppies today at White Tank Regional Park
I just realized it is White Tank without an “s” although we all refer to the beautiful area as “Tanks.” I will just post these flowers from time to time, but they are early this year and people look forward to their brief stay.
