Brittlebush surround the base of a giant Saguaro at McDowell Regional Park, AZ.
Thursday Throwback – MemoriesYears ago we would go to Tres Rios and there was a big dead tree (Still is I think) with multiple Great Blue Heron nests. But that stopped with all the rifle activity very close to the area. Don’t get me wrong – I used to shoot in competition with hand guns – but when it’s near wildlife and people I don’t like it. So no heron nests or at least not many anymore. I changed the sky, but it is my sky
The beginning of wildflowers in the valley. Globemallow at McDowell Regional Park
Velvet 85 Brittlebush in the desert of Arizona. And a busy little bee. Fuji X-T3 Photoshop and Topaz, natural light outdoors. McDowell Mountain Regional Park, AZ.
Hiking in WA State, many years ago. Wonderful memories.
Phainopepla – McDowell Park today. Oops, I cut off his tail but he didn’t seem to mind. Good day for birding and wildflowers are beginning.
Young Bald Eagle at Gilbert Water Ranch just hanging out after devouring a big fish. He (or she) stayed there a long time, changing spots and positions. OK, I changed the sky, but that is also my photo. On those rare, like really rare, days when Arizona has beautiful skies, I take lots of photos and save them in a special folder.
I will always tell you when I change anything.
